... and something pink on the neck

any idea what it is, is it harmful
if it is , any remedies???

Going to need alot more info.
Size of tank in gallons or lites.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.
The pink mark does it have a circling of white around the edges.
