hello all. i have just bought a gold convict cichlid, an adult female. my water conditions are good. in my tank i have a large angel, a medium indian loach (i bought the convict with him), an electric yellow cichlid (female), and a male balloon belly molly. will they all get along?

Well the molly will be in trouble for sure. Convicts new world cichlids and Yellow Labs are from africa, so they are not usually kept together due to different water parameter perferences. The angel may get nipped a fair amount by both the convict and yellow lab. Also with the loach, convict and yellow lab there is going to be some major territory issues.

What size is your tank?

What size tank? I would take back the angel, and the molly, and the loach, AND the lab ( Convicts are HIGHLY agressive). I would them buy a male convict. What ARE your water Parameters?

well thats a recipe for disaster the only fish the convict wont bother much will be the loach but still thats not a good mix in that tank

well first of all everyone gets along. my water is fine. theres no way im getting rid of ANYTHING (i might have forgot to mention its a gold convict)

30 gal

Never seen a gold convict before, though I have heard pink convicts called gold ones as well.

Well there isn't much point of asking if your fish will get along or if your stock is good; if you are just going to disagree with the opinions you get. If you don't plan on getting rid of anything, it doesn't matter what advice we offer you then.

well all of the nipping ended. the molly was killed, but i still have an angel, a yellow lab, a gold convict (pink) and now a powder blue cichlid.

Your tank is way too small to house these types of cichlids, as well as the fact that you are mixing fish from different lakes with different requirements. I have no clue what a powder blue cichlid is, considering that common name could be used for many types of cichlids. However, in my opinion you should take all the fish back and do some more research before you let more fish die.

Its another african cichlid (P.Socolofi) by the sounds

This is someone who will obviously learn the hard way,
The fish are incredibly incompatible and the tank is way too small so there is really only one outcome
