Going To Get Another Fish Today! - Id Help Pls!

My tank is now officially fully cycled (ammonia and nitrite have held at zero for a week) and it's time to get some additions to the three platys in there. I've told my son it's a reward for him getting a good report at school, but really it's me who is the most excited about the new additions!

So after school today when I pick him up, we're off to Maidenhead Aquatics to choose our next additions for our little tank.

I don't know what we're getting yet, I want a gourami or two but I think he wants a small group of neon tetras. I'll let you know what we end up with - probably something totally different

I can't wait!

Well, we ended up with 6 tiny tiny rasboras. Despite my best efforts I can't remember the scientific name they said in the shop but they look pretty much like these http/www.aquarium365.com/espes_rasbora.htm although that isn't what the shop called them.

They're still acclimitasing at the moment, so I'll try and get a picture later in case anyone can help me identify them.

They are very cute little fish, perfect for my small aquarium.

They are really attractive, I'm glad I found them! I only looked because the harlequins were in quarantine and not for sale!
