Going Shopping Today

Im going fish shopping later today. i was wondeing on what i should get. I am already planning on getting some new breeding stock for my guppy tank. I think I have enough bottom feeders. what I need help with iss my 55. right now I have in it.

2 X Undied Blood Parrots
2 X Male Dwarf Groumis
3 X Pearl Danios
3 X Spotted Corys
2 X Bronze Corys
2 X Albino Corys
1 X Albino Chocolate Plecostomus

I want to get more pearls but I havent seen any in a long time. Ive triedzebras but they continue to be eaten by something How about red-eyed tetra...or something large but less aggresive. any ideas?

I'd say they'd be fine as they are quite fat and tall, not just thin. A fair sized shaol of them would look great.

What type of angel do you keep, plecs need a very good filter as they are messy fish.

yea, okay i was wondering......but it may help...how about angels? would they do okay....any other fish...be fast though, Im leaving in like 5 min.

is it just me or would blood parrots.. uhh kill most of those

pearl danios will group with any other danio
if you can't find more pearls then get zebras, leopards etc.

I use to ahve about 6 pearls and 16 zebras, but they all disappered. So thats a no-no...

Also when picking fish don't forget to take into account what your tests are in ph,kh,gh,.

How exactly did those danios 'dissapear'? Maybe those blood parrots decided they looked tasty? I don't think blood parrots make good peaceful community fish...

Well, I only got 2 guppies(green cobra male and a red body/fin female) The other fish didnt look so good. My parrots keep to themselves usally wedged between slate. They are extremly shy and only come out to eat. I have a hard time beliving my parrots ate them wth their odd sahpe mouth. I belive that it was my black tetra or maybe some of my pearls. It could also be my powerfilter. Two of my pearls got sucked up when it became dislodged...perhaps the current was to strong for them.

But when i was there, I was maybe thinking of angels or gold barbs....I know they are fin nippers(I dont worry about the pearls...but maybe the parrots or the groumis)
