Going On A Short Holiday...

I know the answer to this one already but I just want re-assurance.
I'm going to France tommorow until Monday night. I leave mid-morning tommorow (Flight cost me 5p!).
If I give the fish a big feed tommorow morning then will they be OK until monday night/tuesday morning?
I know they will, but I just wanted someone else to agree with me!

I would not give them a big feed- just a normal one. They can only eat so much, any uneaten food will foul the water which is the last thing you want when you're away. If you feel you need to make it up for them, feed them something extra nice when you get back.

Anyway- they will be absolutely fine! Three-four days is nothing. Just enjoy your trip!

as said they'l be fine & extra glad to see you & that tub of food when you come back.
we had an auto feeder failure whilst we were away a couple of years ago - our poor fishies got no food for 2 weeks!!!!!!!
they all survived but obviously we were lucky but oh the guilt!!!! we felt b****y terribel about it, i still worry worry worry everytime we go away for a longer trip!

LOL! Poor fish!

In some ways it will be good... i'm definatley overfeeding at the minute (not on purpose!) and my betta is getting a bit big! So hopefully he'll stand to lose a few grams!
