Yup. That is all i have access to in my area. Only one shop (petsmart) has specific species and they are not what i want - click here to see Mixed africans are cheap (juvis $1.99 - $2.99 each usd). I can identify quite a few, but being that it is a mixed selection i have no idea if they are pure breads. I have a 60 gallon that i am planning on loading with mixed juvis of all sorts. I will try my best to weed out the problems as they occur. Don't worry, no fish born in my tank will leave my tank unless it is dead. I will play by the rules. This is my first mbuna tank. I wish i had more selections but i don't. I cannot afford to order live fish. Way too much money. My main concern is that i don't accidentally add any haps. I will post a vid of a mixed african tank at my lfs. Very beautiful fish. Wish me luck, and please dont hate.

hi where are you based? it doesnt have to be expensive to get decent mbuna . there are plenty of hobby breeders about and they are always much cheaper than shops etc .

edit: from the dollar signs obviously you are in the us . in england weve got a site called aquarist classifieds , maybe you have a us equivalent? or another way to go could be to join some us based specialist cichlid forums and browse their for sale sections
