Hmmm...cories
I basically have to change all the equipment, so I decided to sell this..What would be a reasonable offer?
55 Gallon - Top Fin, comes with hood
No Stands - sorry
Filters - Fluval 4+ and HOB Top Fin Filter
Gravel - Regular, natural coloured
Plants - 15 Fake
Heater
+ 2 Angel Fish (3 inch not including fins)
I'll even throw in a 10 Gallon with Gravel, Filter Heater and 5 fake plants
Now there is nothing wrong with the tank, Its still pretty new. But to be honest his tank is nothing like I wanted, I'm so sick of this, let me tell you why. I'm not selling to people on the forum, this is pick up only and I just want an idea how much I can get for that.
I brought the 55 gallon with hood for $180 CAD, Filters for $140 total, thats $320 right there.
Why I'm selling it: I want to start a planted tank.
1. 55 Gallon is a horrible tank to plant, based on the dimensions
2. The hoods are horrible, 17 watts each...
3. Filters are horrible, I'll be honest since I'm not sellin it here anyway, I'm buying a Canister
4. You don't use gravel in planted tanks, I'm going to use flourite + sand
5. I have no use for the fake plants
6. The angel fish don't fit my stocking plans for the future.
If I am getting new substrate, new filter, new plants, new fish AND new lights, I might as well get a new larger TANK too.
There is one reason why I don't want to sell it, my turtle needs a larger tank on the future, but there is no way I can fit another tank (preferrably 75 Gallons +) there is simply no room for that.
So if you were looking for a new tank, how much would you pay for this?
