Gobsmacked At Treatment Of Fish

Picked up a tank today and it came with 2 silver dollars, nice large fish, however the one has, as I discovered a fishing hook hanging out of its mouth. The eye part of the hook is missing and its imbedded in the poor fishes face! why on earth would someone hook a silver dollar whats wrong with a net!

Someone is taking the fish from me tomorrow morning who is going to remove the hook and get them healthy again.

That's horrible. Some people just don't understand that fish are animals . . . or maybe they don't care.

Dont get me wrong fishing with a line in a pool, pond river or sea is fine, but not in a tank!

The 2 dollars have been collected by Stevem he recons the hook has been in there for a couple of months, he said he can remove it hopefully. Just glad they have gone to a great home, poor things.

No. No more or less cruel than fishing from a river. They are no different to the fish in the rivers and seas so to fish from the wild or in a tank is equally as cruel by that definition.

Just heard the hook has been sucessfully removed and both fish are doing ok
