I recently acquired a little strip of blue moonlight type LED's which I want to mount on the inside of my tank lid. I'm not sure what adhesive is best - will normal superglue or epoxy resin be safe?

I've used heavy duty self adhesive velcro to mount light ballasts etc. in my hood (I do have well fitting cover glasses to stop consensation though). Stick one side to the lid and the other side to the light. Means you can remove stuff if it breaks or you need to move it to a different tank.

What LEDs are they?

If they are the little Interpet ones or ones commonly sold on ebay but are actually for lighting the underside of cars... I wouldnt advise putting them in there, seen so many people have them cause an electrical nightmare! Most are barely splash proof let alone waterproof!

That aside, both superglue and epoxy resin are fine to use or aquarium grade silicone as well.

No, they're specific aquarium ones that are deeply embedded in clear rubber stuff - they had a lot of good reviews on the site I got them from and no negative ones.
