Glory is my convict cichlid with a truly psychotic personality. She used to be pretty tolerant of tank mates, but now all she likes to do is try to hurt things. She mainly likes to aim for the eyeballs for some reason. So I'm keeping her alone in a 20 gallon hex (I know it's small. But it's all I've got. And I feel she's better with me than with some random person the LFS sells her to.)
Today I did a big water change on her tank, and since I took all the plastic plants out of my main tank, I figured I could add the really tall realistic one into her tank for some more cover
A few moments after the plastic plant was added and the tank water was topped off, she came out of her cave and inspected it for a while, then decided she didn't like it or something, and is now trying to uproot it, digging and biting at the base.
I really wonder why I still keep this girl. Here I was planning a nice community tank with rasboras and a betta and some dwarf cories for that tank.
She's really grown on me, though
