i want to make my 4 foot tank into 2 tanks by putting a peice of glass in the middle of the tank, how do i go about this? its a 156litre 4 foot long tank..

Measure carefully, have a piece of glass cut, 1/4" thick should be fine, and silicone it into place. Let the silicone dry for about a week in a well ventilated area, and fill both sides about 1/3 at a time to keep the pressure even.

Cut a template from some stiff cardboard to take to the glass shop. Don't make the fit too tight, as you want a one or even two mm gap for the sealant. 'Glue' the bottom first, with a pile of heavy books at either side to keep it vertical. 24 hours later, remove the books from one side and run the glue gun down both vertical edges. 24 hours later, remove the books and do the same from that side. Slow but sure.
