Just realised I have been posting this in the wrong section, sorry mods.

I was in a pet shop taday and saw these for sale. I was told by the assistant that they would go fine with my neons as long as my chemistry was good and I fed the glass cats on bloodworm or daphnias, I was a bit sceptical. Any comments?

So they won't eat the neons?

I don't think they'd eat neons. I have a few and they are very peaceful fish. They don't bother anyone and are nice. :) Mine's about 4 inches and he's fine. They'd be compatible.

Glass Cats from what I have read are very peaceful and won't harm anything they prefer to be in a schoal aswell. I believe they can be succeptable to disease aswell

My Glass Catfish haven't bothered my Neon's. They were shy and hard to feed at first, but now they appear very hardy, are growing nice and big, and are always out and about in the tank.

Mine love shrimp the most I'd say, but they wolf down flake food.

Very nice and rewarding fish to keep!
