Glass Catfish

Got 8 of these for my 57G tank.

They enjoy hiding under rocks and in the plants until about 4.30 when it starts to get dark outside they come out and play in a nice big group in the middle waters of the tank.

These pictures are of 2 that have paired upandreside under one of the rocks with the Angelicus Catfish during the day.

mine only hid for a couple of days until they got used to my tank and used to school in the middle of my tanks, look awsome.

im sure yours will do that aswell

Yeh I heard it can take a while for them to acclimatise to the tank.

Hopefully once the bogwood goes back in they will feel more comfortable as there is plenty of furnature for the angelicus catfish to be hidden in.

Awesome Ben! I have always seen them in my lfs's, but have never had the nerve to buy them. They looks so fragile, I just feel as though I would kill the poor guys.

Unfortunatly, with your aggressive cichlids, that may well be the case, however I am not certain for sure. They would certainly go nicely if compatible, a small shoal would also do well with Discus, although you dont have that setup anymore as far as i can see?

Wellmy Glass Cats have become a lot more active recently which is nice, it looks so great when all 8 of them are schooling together

Here is a picture of one who was continually coming to the front of the glass to check me out!
