Glass Catfish

so i have a group of glass catfish but they really don't like my lighting as soon as it goes on there straight to the bottom behind some wood and i never get to see them . does anyone have any good ideas to get some shade at the back of the tank as that where they always are anyways. Please help me!! I find it pointless having them if i don't ever see them
