I've had times before where I wake in the morning and stroll over to my tanks and unfortunately find a crispy fish on the floor, but never have I woke up and strolled over to my tank and discovered 5 fish on the floor. They were all glass bloodfin tetras and 3 were still alive, so I returned them to the water. But anyways, this species must be common jumpers, cause there's no way they planned that just to surprise me this morning -.

Yeh my bloodfins jump alot too... but its only when i feed them when i take OFF the cover...at times they've jumped out and landed on the floor and i pick it up and put it back in the water. when not feeding i put the cover back on..and everytime they jump they always hit the cover and fall back into the water :D you must not have a cover on your aquarium thats why they jump out. They jump when they are scared.. most likely by bumps/shocks to the aquarium or other fish that attack them.
