Giving Fish To Pet Shop

Hi,

Can't believe I joined this forum 5 years ago, and promptly forgot about it till the time I've got to get rid of my tank

Anyways, due to re-location I've no choice but to give up my tank... I'm gutted about it, but I'm now also concerned as to what to do with my fish?

I've only got 1 Bala Shark, 1 Clown Loach, and a few Guppies (I knew the re-location was a possiblility so didn't bother re-stocking my tank).... Is it plausible for Pet Shops to take the fish? I'm not wanting any money or anything obviously? Is that something that happens?

Any advice or help would be very much appreciated?

you could try advertising them on here see if anyone can take them

i know some stores are funny about accepting fish

Yeah, that's kinda what I thought

Didn't think to try the classifieds - I've just put a post in there - hopefully there may be someone local that could take them off my hands

your best bet is to ring around your local shops and ask them. i knwo the sho i work for won't accept anyones fish as its down to the lisence that we have.
