givin away my tiger barb

ok, for the past few days, i noticed my tiger barb chasing around my serpae tetras. i know i should have more than one, but all my other ones died to this odd disease. well any way, i was goin on vacation and i couldn't find anyone to watch my fishes, so i put my tiger barb in a breeder net, i didn't have any other tanks. when i got home, the breeder net had a hug hole in it, and my tiger attacked my poor serpaes. they are all still alive, but the all got some torn up fins, and a few missing chunks . right now, my tiger is in an isolation tank. my tadpole died, so i put it in that tank, but before theorally cleaning it out. i am giving him away tommorow, he is too agresive for my taste.

I'm sorry to hear. I've never had tiger barbs my self, but I've heard some rough stories about them.

as far as i can tell, the serpaes are acting normal as soon as i got him out. it surprises me he didn't attack the angels, with the long fins and such.

They're great fun if kept in a tank that has no other real top/mid dwellers.

tiger barbs for example in a loach tank is great fun.

But tiger barbs in say a gouramis tank and you'll have some stressed out gouramis.

well, you were repeatedly warned that tiger barbs can be nippy, especially when kept in undersized groups...
