spot on, the current stock is one of the the best communities iv ever had, strangely it consists of 3 silver dollars, 1 albino rainbow shark, 1 red rainbow fish, 2 mystery cichlids ???, 2 firemouths, 5 red eye tetras, 3 blue rams, 1 yoyo loach.

oh and a chinese algae eater

Silver dollars should be in groups of 6 or more, yoyo loaches prefer groups, rainbowfish also school. If you bump these guys up to the number they should at you tank will probably be way over stocked. By the sounds its already over stocked. Also pretty sure you were told what your mystery cichlids are if i remember right.

The silver dollars shoal even though their only 3 but the the tank doesn't look too overstocked as a matter of fact their is plenty more swimming space. I was getting a second red rainbow but I couldn't afford it, the mystery cichlid was apparently a vieja but its been a month and they haven't grown a millimeter (no exaduration) so I'm becoming scepticle

Are you sure? I didn't notice any change in Glory's size until recently, but she's actually grown 2 inches since I bought her. Almost full grown now, but she still looks like that 3/4s inch fish I bought a few months back.

It might not be getting proper nutrition as well. what are you feeding it?

Well when I say the same size I mean smaller then my firemouths, I'm talking like 1 inch (I just measured with a ruler) which means he's grown a millimeter

Doesn't change that silver dollars are schooling fish. If theres more then 1 they will probably stick together but still should be in groups of 6+. Are all of your fish full grown? Cause silver dollars at most pet shops are about the size of coin... Not the 5-6 inch saucer they get to be. 2 firemouths (that claim territory), 3 rams (claim territory) and 2 vieja (get huge, are nasty, and claim territory) rainbow shark (also can be territorial). A 75 gallon with 2 young Jagur Cichlids wouldn't look over stocked... But wait a few months and say that again.

The silver dollars are about the size of 4 coins so not nearly full grown, the shark is full grown, the fm is pretty big not full size, there 3 inches. The shark is full size

Oh and the tetras are full size

Whether your tank is overstocked shouldn't be judged off of by juvinile fish unless you have a tank waiting for them to grow into. It should be judged by their maximum size/bio load.

I agree; most of the points raised since my last post are very valid.
