Gill Cover Coloured Patch

Hullo, yet again, Iam afraid!

Do all mbuna have a brightly coloured, reflective spot on their gill covers?

All mine do, and most pictures I have looked at online have them too.

As I recall all of mine did too. I kept Labidochromis caerulues, Metriaclima callainos, Pseudotropheus acei and Pseudotropheus crabro.
