Giant Otocinclus?

Has anyone heard of these? or kept them? they look like the smaller ones except they are much bigger...I would say about 3 inches long.

I didn't think to take a picture of them to show everyone.

I will visit the store and take a picture and maybe buy some more oto(small ones, mine died for a some reason I don't even know..i only have one left ) maybe I will go tomorrow and snap a shot and see if anyone has seen them around.

I can't find anything online about them either.

they look similar to that. I just came back from the LFS actually and I have photos this time.







Images came a bit fuzzy due to it being dark in the fish room. but some came out clear.

These guys are wild caught, jumbo "oto" cats. This is what they labelled them as at the LFS.

they look kind of like yours but the colouration is different.

They finished the small octocats.... I have to go back later in the week to get some more.

I bought one of these and its in my aquarium. After a few weeks of deciding if i should or not.

certainly something i haven't seen before, i quite like them on a side note if it is indeed an Oto they prefer to be kept in groups

I have seen them at my LFS.
If I remember correctly, they were quite expensive. Especially if you were buying a small group of them.

The only thing I can say is be careful that they are not chinese algea eaters as they can get big and mean. I, personally, can't tell the difference in a lot of fish (still new to the fish world) but that is what would worry me.
