I currently have three ghost shrimp and I wish to breed them, is three enough? They're in a 5-6 gallon tank, is that big enough? Also what is the best temperature to keep them at? Any other comments or information will be appretiated!

Search the forum for information, there is a lot in here if you just try to look. They are hard to breed in an aquarium though.

I have a 10g tank full of them. I get about 100 new ones a month. Never knew they was hard to breed. Salt water and heat and you got more and more. Hard thing is they lay there eggs out in the open and about 95% of fish will eat them.

mine r freshwater ghost shrimp and i guess they're pretty easy to breed too

As far as I know, all ghost shrimp are freshwater. But they still need brackish conditions to breed. I don't know that they will breed at all or as much in a freshwater system as they would with brackish conditions.
