i noticed one of my ghost or glass catfish pregnant with eggs yay.... i hope... her belly looks really big and shes with her mate always more. i heard its rare that they lay eggs... if anyone knows how to help so i can save them all when she does lay them it would be awesome!!!...i have a tutti fruti frog, male betta, two male guppys, and a octana alge sucker kind of fish,... should i seperate the parents? or keep them together in a holding tank till she lays them helpppp !! i reallyy want the fry :D thanks!

in that tank, if anything lays eggs they will get eaten by the tank mates.

Should I move the parents then ? I've only done care care of breeding with live bearers before so I'm new to egg layers

When you say her belly looks big ho do you mean? Im not sure how it would look in glass fish but I would be careful to assume its eggs rather than disease. They are not really a monogomous fish so staying with her mate is not a real indicator...

How big is the tank and how many glass cats do you have - also what is a tuti fruiti frog? Frogs and fish in a tank rarely ends well...

How is the big Glass Cat doing now?

How big is the tank? Ideally you want more glass cats as they are a schooling fish not a pairing fish but are quite big so need largish tanks.

As for the frog, would be interested to know what it is. But having him there with fish is potentially a risk, and it will only take a night of hunting to clear out your tank if it is a predatory species so its not too important how he is with them day to day its more important realising that he could be a predatory threat.

Her frog might be an African Clawed Frog (painted one).

still samew size and i relocated my frogs but the pair are still togther no eggs

I wouldn't rush to assume it's eggs. Ghost catfish are a rather nervous species, and breeding them in capttivity is rare if even possible. I don't think they'd go out and breed when they're being kept in a pair in a rather oddly stocked tank.
