Thoughts are turning to stocking.

Ok I have a Rio 180 planted tank with two nice bits of bogwood and a couple of coconut half shells.

So far I am thinking of getting

1 pair of Pelvicachromis Taeniatus (either Dehane, Bipindi or Moliwe)
1 pair of Bristle nose ancistrus
3 or 4 Botia striata (or possibly lochata)
6 amano shrimps

For dithers I am thinking of some Gardineri killifish, possibly about 6 but open to suggestions.

Girlfriend also wants me to get a pair of German Blue Rams, but obviously that could be problematic with the Taeniatus. Advice appreciated.

Anyone think of what else I could get?

cheers

The 1961 Ferrari, two-fifty GT California. Less than a hundred were made. My father spent three years restoring this car. It is his love, it is his passion . . .

It is his fault he didn't lock the garage.

Anyway... :D Sounds pretty good to me. The shrimp would probably be food in there though, don't you think?

One possible addition?
Anomalochromis thomasi
Congo (or other medium sized, non-nippy) tetras

Anomalochromis thomasi also known as butterfly or dwarf jewel cichlids are excellent fish to have. ive got a pair of my own. they are fairly easy to look after and can tolerate a wide range of water conditions. just make sure your tanks well planted because they can be a bit scared if you look at them :)
