Getting Rid Of Algae...

How the heck do i get rid of this algae. I have tried algae destroyer and it doesn't work. All it did was kill my shrimp, ROFL... (My fault tho)

Scrape it off or get an algae eater of some kind (ottos are great for that). Make sure your lightbulb is less than 10,000 degrees Kelvin, that helps too. And keep natural sunlight away.

first off, what kind of algae are we talking about? here is a link that will help you identify it, and give you some ideas on how to get rid of it.

looks as if it's fuzz and hair algae...

If you have fake plants get like 1 snail for every 10g and your tank will shine in a week. Also you could get a Pleco if tanks big enough. Snails do a better Job on tanks with full alge. Plecos do better with alge here and there.

Mystery Snails. Do not get Mystery Snails if you have live plants. Mystery Snails eat plants.
