I wanted to share how I washed my flourite.
I bought 8 bags of dark flourite for my new 120G.
I bought 2 packs of 5 gallon paint strainers at Home Depot for $4 each.
Set up the strainer in the 5 gallon bucket. Dump the flourite in the strainer. Then tie a knot so the top of the bag is closed. In your slop sink (waaay to cold outside here in Queens) turn on the water and knead the flourite under the water. Keep moving the bag and turn it over and over. Continue to knead flourite. If u get a puddle, pick up the bag and let all the dusty water drain. Repeat until the bag runs clear. On average it took me 10 minutes per bag.
I filled my tank up today and there was no dust cloud. I'm psyched.
