German Ram

i have one male German blue ram and from pictures i have seen on these forums and on the Internet, some features that he has are different. The back end of his dorsal fin is very high, about an inch to an inch and a half high. his tail is also quite big. his pelvic fins are very long and taper into a long, flowing point at the ends. his anal fin is also long and pointed. same colours as other Germans (he's a little dull at the moment because i did have another male who used to chase him. he died a couple of weeks ago due to a fungal infection. he's colouring up nicely now though)

are these normal features? or is mine inbred or the cause of selective breeding or something? i noticed when i bought him the other rams in the tank looked the same.

i dont have any pictures because my dad has the camera and he's buggered off for the day lol.

Sounds like a long-finned German ram, which I believe is just a line-bred variant on the standard fish.
