ok things have finally settled down!! the new male kept going in the existing pair's terratory which they did not like!! and everytime he went in the lonely female's terratory she chased him out. i was nearly tearing my hair out!!! he was gettin so stressed and lost his black stripes but now the lonely female is lonely no more!! she's finally accepted him and he's hiding in her area getting his colour back! the other male is getting more curious tho by swimming out into 'no mans land' which is great to watch as they all see each other and flare their dorsal fins up!!
so please keep all fingers/toes/fins crossed things stay like this!

They'll be fine. Calm down. May take them a few days to settle down though. They're just doing what comes naturally.
