German Blue Rams

My friend has a couple of Rams that she and I would like to see the colour come out. I have seen some of the pictures that are on this forum and hers do not have the Vibrancy that some of the people on her have...
Is there a certain food that will bring it out, and will the older they get, the more colour they get?

It could be age thats stopping the colours from coming out, also water stats can affect how colour is shown, i wouldnt say that food is what makes colour show in fish... happiness of the fish is how they produce their best colour.

If you mean the metallic colour it mite be your lighting too. once i upgraded my lighting they looked so much brighter!!

^^ agreed. my bolivian ram looked a very solid yellow colour in his first tank with regular lights. now that he's moved to the 29g with flourescent lights, he looks like a different fish
