well i recently bought a 25 gallon tank. added some plants and put three cories in. i was told maybe 2-3 bolivian rams or 2-3 german blue rams would do good in that sized tank. What do you think about putting one Keyhole Cichlid in (which id much rather have) instead of the blue rams? im going to but some rocks in (maybe slate) for the Cichlid i decide to get and heavily plant it. anywayz whats your input?

why do you want to buy 1 keyhole cichlid? thats a bit cruel.... and pointless if you ask me. part of the reason i and others keep cichlids is their behaviour towards others of their own species. if you get only 1 i can almost 100%assure you he wont show much character and probably will never be happy. re consider buying 1 fish of everything you want. what you want is not always important

You should really sort out the Blue Acara situation, has someone taken it yet?

Once the Blue Acara is sorted out with then you can think about what fish to put in, and the answer to that question is that you can only get Rams in that sized tank, or you could get Apistos, but they are harder to find, and expensive.

1 keyhole would be fine.. throw a couple more cories and a school of tetras in there and you're set.

If you do already have an acara in there, be sure to get rid of it before you add anything else.

yeah im going to give it back to the lfs and hopfully getta discount on the rams or on my other thread i was wonderin bout a jellybean parrot i heard u can keep jellybeans inna 30 gal cuz they grow 3-4 inches but then ive heard 6 inches aswell, anyway would it work?

u should check out your local paper or something and try get a 55 gallon. check ebay too.

would open up your options and you could get the fish youve wanted over the past few weeks.

the ID shark could go in there too. :)
