is there a visible injury to the mouth? cant really see 1 in photo. what are your water stats heavy breathing/gasping could be low oxygen high nitrites/ammonia etc. are there any other fish in the tank? if so are they behaving normally?

From many of your previous posts it is widely known you have a number of large fish in a 30G (and by 'dived' i'm unfortunately assuming you mean that it is now divided)

even without knowing the water stats, (which i assume won't be good) the problem is not being helped by the fact that there will be a lack of oxygen in the tank due to the severe overcrowding.

You may like cichlids but unfortunately you simply don't have the experience or resources to house these fish properly
I like arowanas, but because i don't have the funds or resources to house one properly i leave them well alone and I'm sorry but tbh you should do the same.

I have had fish for 3 years now and my dad has years of experience and has told me it's nothing to worry about. He may just need time to heal. In case he doesn't heal, I like to ask others their opinion and there is nothing wrong with that. I posted again my tank size and # of fish since I was just asked by another person (Mark). I will be upgrading my tank very soon since my parents will be getting me a tank for my B-day. As for the spelling it was a mistake.
