Geophagus Jupupair Help!

His lip is very weird heres a pic. he's my baby. he can't close his mouth all the way. tank is 30 gallon fish 4.

And its a geophagus jurupari.
and i did a water change yesterday.

How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

When you say the mouth wierd can you explain what you mean.
