Geophagus Id

Well I've always said I'm not a cichlid fan, but now I one a little range of the beasts, from dwarfs to large cichlids, how things have changed but I'm at my limit now for fish, so no more


Problem is I cant recall which species the geophagus that I has is, so can anyone Id it for me please.

thanks in advance, and I'#m sorry if this is the wrong forum, as you can gather I know very little about cichlids, well not enough to put them in new or old categories

edit: I think they might be: Geophagus jurupari

I think it's a Satanoperca leucosticta too. Jurupari are more blue, even at that size.

thanks, I have 3, but looks like sexing is not possible until they mate, and they are about 5" atm
