I am a father of 4 kids, so I know the facts of life, but my G.B. are truely in lurve............. Are they mouthbrooders? is this a ritual or what?

My tank is 6ft x 2ft x 2ft

+1 on the fighting. My works two big oscars do it quite often.

Male/female pairs will also lip lock when testing each other to see if they are suitable partners so it doesnt always conclusively show that they are fighting over territory.

a breeding pair of dempseys are renound for it and these are cichlids too

most cichlids are known to have lip locked a time or two. unless it turns real bad I usually will let it go
