my GBRs have been acting weird lately, i hope anyone has an insight to whats going on.

i noticed yesterday the male was getting stressed and was acting a little aggressive to the other fish in the tank, i turned the light of for a couple hours to give him time to chill.
hes been fine since but i also noticed today that the female chases the male. and if the female gets too close to the male he will kinda swim upright until she goes??

whats this all about? are they not getting on?

Hi Not sure if this will help ?
I have keyhole cichlid and when they are having a spat then 1 will go upright so the other ones mouth is near the chest area , the 1 will stay upright till other 1 has backed off then they circle each other then the other 1 might go upright . It might be away of them making them looking bigger to put other 1 off .
Good luck with your gbr lovely fish
cathy
