Is this a okay mix, There not gonna like rip my plants or eat them?

Never had a problem with my rams eating my plants.

The only thing I will say is that they do require higher temperatures and very low nitrates, so might not be an option if you're considering dosing nitrates into your tank.

That might be a very big issue. But wont having loads of plants eat the nitrates up anyway?

You would hope so, but I know that a lot of fertilisers include nitrates. If memory serves, I think it's artificial nitrates rather than the type that occur as a result of the nitrogen cycle, but whether it will still affect the rams, I don't know. I personally wouldn't risk it.
