Eeeee! Uber excited!
So tonite i went looking though other ppls trash (ahhh its not as bad as it sounds – let me explain) my city has this junk collection program where in the summer people can put items that they no longer need on the curb in front of their house and the city will come by and pick it up for you. Well the pick up day for each area is sat morn, but ppls start putting stuff out much sooner so that other ppls can drive round and pick up stuff that they could use.
So tonite i went looking for interesting stuff (last yr i got some wicked finds) and i found (among other things) some 1 gal + glass jars!!! plus a whole bunch of other jars (which i stupidly didnt pick up and that im heading back for tomorrow as i think they would be awesome if i ever decide to breed my bettas).
Im wondering what they best way to clean them is. I was thinking of soaking them in a bleach water mix, rinsing them then baking them in the sun for a couple days to evaporate the bleach – would this work? Is there a better way to clean em? One of them is pretty stinky (it was obviously used for garlic pickles).
Any suggestions would be terrific.
