sure some of you will have seen this advertised as the revolutionary new food, well we got curious and bought some, just thought i'd let you lot know what we thought of it in case you were thinking of trying it

we've tried both the tropical and marine versions and have been really impressed with them. the fish absolutely love them, they're easy to feed and store. Our marine fish especially can be fussy eaters, they won't touch marine flakes so we were feeding fresh and frozen food most days and the frozen cubes you get were really too much for a small group of fish. The only thing that made us laugh was the claim that 'one click feeds five fish' hmmm yes i don't think 5 oscars would be fully satisfied from one clock of it!! But if you just apply a little common sense your well away. ;)

think it's a really good compromise between the frozen meaty food the fish love and the convenience of flake

going to try the cichlid one soon too.

:good:

Hi,

Thought I'd add my thoughts as well. I bought the tropical version of this a couple of weeks ago, and my mixture of fish love it. They go absolutely bonkers for it, ember tetras barging kribs out of the way!

Worth the money IMHO.

I'm glad you like it, cos I've just ordered some off our very own Sp00ky :hyper:

I'll let you know how my fish like it when it arrives.

I'm not a massive fan i'm afriad. Guppies will not eat this food. Most other tropical fish will and apparently every click will provide 5 fish with their daily nutritional content - i'm not so sure.
We use them where I work because they are a quick way of feeding 30,000 fish when we're busy.
I only really use it at home if i'm in a rush.

yeah i don't buy the 1 click for 5 fish thing, obviously you still need to provide a good balanced varied diet.

however i think as a staple diet it's infinitley preferable to flake
