all i have now is flakes...he wont eat them. he gets all excited then stops right before he eats it. do those little pellets make that much of a difference? will he survive a couple of days w/o food??

For some reason Ive found any betta Ive kept prefers the pellets or granules to flakes, something about their texture maybe they dont like. If its just a couple of days, he should be fine, try the odd flake you never know eventually he might take one. Failing that, do you have any blood worm, brine shrimp, daphnia etc? They happily take all of those.
