I Have a GAE in my ten gallon

It seems like it is NEVER eating

There is no more algae in my tank so i dont no if it is starving or not

I never fed it anything specially before, but should I

Should i get it Algae pellets or should i just let it feast off of the leftover flake food

?????

Help PLEASE

I think they eat leftover flake foods. They can actually become carnivorous when older.

I assume you are talking about a chinese algae eater?

Actually i was talking about the golden algae eater

Sorry about the confusion!!!

as to your actual question , buy algae pellets if it makes you feel better.
however , unless he is displaying very unusual behavior or looking especially thin - in all likelihood he gets himself the odd flake or two a day

Ok thank you very much furryrabbit

I think i will get him algae pellets

Thanks
