Fussy Bettas

and they snub there noses at it. i decided to be nice and buy my bettas some frozen brine shimp. my dear departed livingston use to love the stuff, and i loved it too because he would chase it down. so i go to give it to my three bettas, and not one, not two but all three snubbed there noses at it. spoiled rotten fish. normally they only get pellets with the occassonal bloodworms during the work.
on top of that i got some new decorations for all of there tanks, and the only one who seems happy with the change was the recently depressed jasper. he has perked up with the change. i got him a nice rock with some holes in it and new silk plants. rayne got one of jaspers old orniments and new silk plants and storm got a floating log.

also a recent trouble hit my tanks, jaspers filter stoped working, which annoys me because his tank and filter are only a month old. i emailed the company but there web site is down. (it is a marine land eclipse corner tank.) but still i have the mini bow tank for almost four months now and never had trouble with the filter. luckly i have a spare tiny filter i got one gallon that is currently empty. so i got it out the tiny filter (its good for tanks for 1-3 gallons) so i put it in my guppys tank which is a 2.5 gallon, and took his larger filter and moved it into jaspers tank. took some squeezing but i have it in there and running. the fun part for me is his water looks cleaner now then with the eclipse tank filter.

anyways the tank is still under warrentee so hopefully the can replace the whole thing. still it is very annoying. i am still trying to figure out how rocks end up in them. i think that maybe jasper was trying to pull a nemo on me.

Fred wasn't impressed with the brine shrimp either. Plus Fred and I have diffrent tastes. Those things I think would be cute in his tank he does not like. Help I am wrapped around the fins of a Betta!!!! (AND I LIKE IT)

lol yeah i had to rearringe the tanks again, rayne did like the floating log and now hangs out in it. at least some one liked it. jasper also approves of the rock and the fake and bamboo. ahh the joy of having fishy kids.

Fred has been sharing his tank with Charlie for about 1 month now. I was using a piece of smoked lexan as a divider. After the first week the flaring had slowed down. Today I saw a kit to make a divider, it is alot thinner then what I was using, so I bought it. I cleaned the tank , installed the new divider which is made of clear plastic, and put the boys back in. Now the flaring has started again. Here we go again! Silly boys.

all three of my bettas have their own five gallon tank. the girl betta rayne is in the middle and the two boys are on the side. i would love to switch there tanks around but there just so heavy with five gallons of water. o well maybe one of these days i will eat my spinish and move the tanks.
