Good morning all,
Last night when I was watching tv I saw the blue ram chiclids acting funny.
One of the chiclids was nesting in the corner of the tank in between a stone and the glass and it put all it's fins together and they were vibrating so quickly while it was hugging the gravel on the bottom. The other chiclid was being protective over it and warning off anything that came near.
They were doing this for about 20 or so minutes.
The other fish didn't really go near that corner but when the yo yo loach were going near scavaging around for food the chiclids would be so territorial and attack the loach warning them off. At one point both the chiclids were attacking one loach from either side and being the hungry loach he was eating as much as possible ignoring the chiclids. He did eventually give up.
The fish have been fine together with no problems at all, they get on well, was just last night when the chiclids were doing that
Any thoughts as to what they where doing?
Thanks
