After fully planting the 36 gallon and getting the plants healthy, it was time to add some more fish! We are probably pushing the limits of overstocked, but with Trumpet snails to help with the mess and a lot of nitrate suckers (lots of hygro difformis, floating brazilian pennywort) plus me being anal and changing about 1/3rd of the tank water weekly, I think we will be fine. So here we go:

5 Long Finned Zebra Danios (used them to fish in cycle before I found this nice forum :) )
8 Lambchop Rasboras
8 Peppered Cory Cats
6 Panda Cory Cats
3 Honey Gourami
2 Long Finned Bristlenose Plecs (male and a female)
1 Male Betta Splendens

I just added in the 6 Panda Corys and 3 Honey Gouramis today after QTing them for about 10 days. I know the Gouramis and the Betta may not get on well, but I will watch them closely. There is plenty of cover in the hygros and floating pennywort, so there are ample places to escape to.

And now, just like someone told me it would, the QT tank has now become a 2nd fish tank (doh!). I don't mind terribly as I don't foresee us adding anything more to any of the tanks unless we happen to lose a lot of fish for some reason. We've now got a 10 gallon with 7 Cardinal Tetra and 6 Green Corys who are having fun in their new home.

Anyhow, just thought I'd share as it's always fun to get new stock!
