I've got a batch of about 35 month-old guppy fry in my growout tank, and over the last few days my females have left me 25 newborns. I've had to put them in with the month-olds due to a lack of another tank, and everyone is getting on great, but I was wondering if there would/could be any problems with the bigger ones eating the smaller ones before everyone's big enough to be separated out into different tanks? Should the newborns not be too big to eat by the time the month olds reach maturity? Anyone know?

I had the same problem, so I put the newborns in a breeder net in the tank with the one month olds. They only stayed in there about a week until they were eating well and had grown a bit. They are all doing great now.
