Hi, congrats on your babies

,
when i have fry, i put them in their own tank with a little bit of substrate (i use sand cos i find it easier to clean, but not full thickness, just a dusting on the bottom. A lot of people use no substrate.).
I use a sponge filter that is run by an airpump so it can't suck the fry in.
I feed liquifry (a liquid fry food) several times a day for the first 10 days or so, then gradually introduce tropical flakes crushed to a powder, and spirulina flakes (also crushed).
I also add a few plants to help keep the water quality good and provide hiding places to reduce stress, and do a 10% water change every day for the first few weeks.
Remember that your tank needs to be cycled
before you put fry in! If you can't do this, set up the tank as above, then put one small adult fish in (to feed the bacteria), and your cycled filter from your established tank for a few days at least, so your sponge filter can build up a colony of good bacteria, or, put your sponge filter into your adult fish tank ( if it is a healthy tank) so it can get bacteria from there. This will also take a few days but is the fastest way i know of to do it.
If you already know all about cycling, i apologise for telling you how to suck eggs. If you don't, check out the pinned threads on cycling at the top of the forum, or in some poster's signiatures.
good luck with your little fishies, hope this helps. Also, there are lots of people on this forum who know waaaaaayyyyy more about fish and fry than me, so they'll probably give you lots of grreat help really soon.
