Hi
I have a 2.5 gallon tank housing my month old fry. i had an ebtire tank clean out cause the water was so bad. there was so much food and poop in there! anyway, can i stick a ph tablet in there just in case, or will it kill the fry? (not willing to take chances as this is my first ever batch of babies)
OH, 20 fry went into that tank, and only 13 came out when i cleaned :-( . While cleaning, we found two dead, the others must have been eaten (fishf eat fish worlD)

maybe some of your fry were dead because of the water condition...

i only use tap water for my molly fry...

i never tried those ph tablet, salt, nitrites or the likes...

all are fine, nobody lost his life...lol...

were they alone in the 2.5 gallon tank...

13 fry in 2.5 gallons is very crowded Fisharecool. Is there a way to set up a larger container for them? Even a large plastic storage tub or a 5 gallon bucket would be a better home for that many although you wouldn't be able to watch them as easily.

why do you want to add a ph tablet? ph is one of the worst things to mess with
