I have a small fry tank (not familiar with the measurement). I am using only air stone in it, the water getting dirty and blur. Any recommendation on any types of filter I can use in a small tank for fry?

Or you could also use a net breeder or breeder radp in your main tank so that way they have the tempature that the rest of you fish have and the same water too. I am currently using a breeder trap for my one little fry(i didn't know when the female was pregnant so i only saved one :( ) and it is working great he cant get sucked up by filteration and i dont have to worry about heat 'cause i have me community tank set to the right heat. You might not like net breeders though so i'de have to say use a sponge filter only for the fry tank though

Thank you guys... Finally I have bought a sponge filter. But the water in the fry tank still blur n slight greenish... I am staying in Malaysia, and my tank is near to the window, so I suspected this is due to the sunlight which cause the algae to bloom. I have used a curtain to block the sunlight, will observe the changes.

Yes i guess well just have to see if it works.
It happened to me parents to their tank and they did 2 water changes a week where they took out 25% of the water each time, did this for 5 months and the tank wasn't green anymore.

It could also be that the new sponge filter isn't cycled. Take some gravel or other substrate from a mature tank, & place it on top of the sponge. This helps to transfer nitrifying bacteria to the sponge, and uses the gravel as a temporary bio filter.

Will get the pic for the water condition now, soon....

I know thiss is a little off topic but you have a nice tank and your fish seem pretty healthy too.
I guess the water is getting better cause it isnt very green in their

Thank you, by the way, that pic was taken before the water condition changed. Will post a pic of bad water condition soon.

I am pretty sure the blury water condition is caused by algae blooming.

Finally the water condition in my fry tank is improved, this happened by having a curtain blocking the sunlight from the window shooting to my tank.

Will post more pics of my little babies to share with you guys soon :)

Quite a numbers of the fry died due to fighting... but still left about 30++
:)
