What's new

Fry ID (if possible)

The guppy fry was dead this morning. I'm gutted. This never ending death tank is so distressing.

I hope the preggers fish are ok and maybe the LFS will take some fry as I doubt my tank is suitable. I've one plant but more on the way.

Still doing daily 75% changes and checking Ammonia (which was 2.5 this morning) and nitrate (29) and nitrite (0.04).

I've 60cm/58L tank (about 24 inches & 16 US Gallons).

Thanks it's been rough. I got some Salvinia & a moss ball so hopefully they'll help along with the Anubis. More plants coming soon too.

I'm sorry about the fry. I lost a fish this morning too, you're not alone, and it's rough when it happens. Hope the new plants arrive soon, you're doing the right thing keeping up with the water changes, and you're doing all you can. Personally I blame the LFS dude who gave you the terrible advice for the deaths, not your fault.

I lost a fish as well, I know how you guys feel :(

Oh sad days guys :( hope everyone evening (or whatever way your day is) goes better. I'm just starting at the tank here waiting for the Plecos to test the new cave out. Looking forward to more plants.

I ordered some more plants from the same source again the other day, looking forward to those arriving. I'm setting up more tanks, and I can never get enough plants, so I couldn't resist. Can't wait to see what you get, and the tank all filled out with plants!

I need to figure out how and where to put them. Like do they need to be certain space away from filter? The floating plant is quite nice - like mini clover.

Take some photos of the individual bunches when they arrive (preferably while they're under water, just drop the bunch with the plant weight into a glass container, or the front of the tank if you don't mind possibly getting snails) since it's easier to ID them when than when they'll lying flat out of water. Different plants need different planting, so just share the pics in the plant ID section, and we'll figure out what they are and let you know how to plant them. The filter shouldn't be a problem for most

No more loses since Friday... i think we've turned a corner! I now have 9 platy fry in a lil incubation box & all the other fish seem ok. A few have ICH but aren't going mad with it. Tank at 30.7 degrees. Daily 75% water charges while cycling.

We can do this fishes

Thanks
Here's some of my surviving fish just cause it's nice to look at them :)
