Never had this issue but doesn't mean it couldn't happen! Good pointI agree. The boxes can make the mother abort the fry and sometimes kill the mother

Mine aren't like a wildfire at all.. My male endler died, but I still have one male guppy though he's more interested in my female swordtailsIf you ever get a male guppy careful! They breed faster than wildfire spreads
I'm sorry about the fry. I lost a fish this morning too, you're not alone, and it's rough when it happens. Hope the new plants arrive soon, you're doing the right thing keeping up with the water changes, and you're doing all you can. Personally I blame the LFS dude who gave you the terrible advice for the deaths, not your fault. Thanks it's been rough. I got some Salvinia & a moss ball so hopefully they'll help along with the Anubis. More plants coming soon too.

I ordered some more plants from the same source again the other day, looking forward to those arriving. I'm setting up more tanks, and I can never get enough plants, so I couldn't resist. Can't wait to see what you get, and the tank all filled out with plants!Oh sad days guyshope everyone evening (or whatever way your day is) goes better. I'm just starting at the tank here waiting for the Plecos to test the new cave out. Looking forward to more plants.
Take some photos of the individual bunches when they arrive (preferably while they're under water, just drop the bunch with the plant weight into a glass container, or the front of the tank if you don't mind possibly getting snails) since it's easier to ID them when than when they'll lying flat out of water. Different plants need different planting, so just share the pics in the plant ID section, and we'll figure out what they are and let you know how to plant them. The filter shouldn't be a problem for mostI need to figure out how and where to put them. Like do they need to be certain space away from filter? The floating plant is quite nice - like mini clover.
