How long can it be before i have to move my 45 fry out of the breeder box and into a tank?

The maximum time I'd leave them in a breeder is 5-6 weeks, but a few of my slow growers have stayed in my breeder for 8 weeks without problem as the water is constantly moving through my net and the main tank.

They may be safe before that time comes - depends how big the biggest fish is in the tank if they are moving into your community tank? Normally I judge this and then wait another week to make sure.

I would definitely not leave 45 fry in a breeder box. There will be no space for them to grow. You need at least a 10 gallong growout for 45. I keep only a max of 5 fry in my breeder box, and it usually gives them enough space to grow.

Lilmuppet-I meant move the fry to a growout tank with no other fish.

I'm trying to get a 10 gallon tank but my parents hate fish so they wont let me. The 45 fry have been in the breeder box for 2 weeks already.
