i have about 10 fry from the first batch in my signature and 2 of them have the most color and today i noticed they have a gonopodium!! how long does it take to develop?

Once you can detect the gonopodium developing, it takes very little time to complete the transition to a fully mature looking gonopodium. The fin coloring will actually be the last thing to fully develop. I find that it really reaches adult coloring months after the fish is an obvious male with decent colors.

well it has color on its fins.i just noticed the gonopodium today. but i have male adult guppies and the gonopoduium on them looks the same but just bigger

well after a while of deciding i put one of the fry with the gonopodium in with the adults along with 2 female fry(i hope they r) in too.they r all doing well and i hope nothing happens to them.and i hope they dont get pregnant :/ i might get a tank for my bday which is the 23rd of this month so i might put them in there instead
