I recently (2 days ago) bought a Dalmation Molly from Petsmart, and this morning, I happened to fish out 17 live and well fry into a breeder net for the time being. I also started to notice little white spots on my Rasboras and they are flashing!! I have yet to find an Ich treatment safe for fry, and since I live in a dorm room with a 10 gal, I have no quarantine or fry tank! I can buy a small tank with a filter (no bigger than a 2 gal or I will get in trouble with the dorm office), but I don't know what to do as to "cycling" the tank because I am nervous to take anything out of my 10 gal filter, water, or gravel because I think there may be ich. I either risk them dying from ich treatment or an uncycled tank... HELP!!!

Best to half dose with fry.
Raise temp to 30 and increase aeration.
Finrot common on top of whitespot.
Remove black carbon from filter if you use it.

Thank you!! I am going to get a small tank and half dose the fry (and the frog??) in it, so that I can full dose the main tank... Does this sound alright? Or should I not treat the frog at all?? I could put him in a kitchen container and do frequent water changes? Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't medicate with the frog in the tank.
Why not just move the frog and half dose the main tank with the fry,

i have just doesed my tank with interpet no 6 and i have fry in tank and i used a full dose. on second dose today mollie fry very happy still swimming ad eating fine

Shouldn't add full dose there little bodies can cope with it.
